Poems On Nature
Shelley’s use of poems on nature
Percy Bysshe Shelley, poet, revolutionary romantic period in English, using nature as a means of revolutionary faith and rebirth. He, in his “Ode to the West Wind,” the poem says it’s an incredible force of nature that can destroy and
create good. The wind is also symbolic of “despair and hope” and “death and rebirth.
In the first part of the “Ode to the West Wind” poetry, we find the image of death, that all the layers I pushed away from the wind, like a ghost. As the poet said:
“O wild West Wind, thou breath of Autumn
You, the invisible presence of dry leaves
Driven like a ghost witch escape, “
Here, West Wind symbolize death and destruction.
In the next image, we find the West Wind, as a symbol because it keeps the seedbed, placing them under the ground as they grow and fill the hills and plains with a “bright colors and smells.”
In the second part of the poem, the influence of the West Wind in the sky is described.
In the third Shelley describes the scene that the West has created a surface wind and ocean depths.
In the fourth section, the poet of world poetry change the world of nature of humanity. Here he is very skilled at
connecting three of the characters, the leaves of natural clouds, waves, into a knot. As the poet said:
“If I die, you could bear leaves;
If I were a fast cloud to fly with thee;
A wave of suffocating under your authority, and exchange “
Once again, the poet called the Wind, the incredible forces of nature in his life to win and ask yourself Wind recover from despair. He wants to share the momentum of the West wind and lifted him above traumatic and anxiety state. As he says:
“Oh, I appoint the waves, leaves, clouds!
I fell on the thorns of life! I bleed! “
At the end of the poem, Shelley wanted to grow the entire human race by means of a revolutionary force of the wind. He wants to blow wind on it and fill it with great energy, he should change the world. The poet wanted to avoid useless customs and conventions such as wind destroyed the old leaves and dead. Wind Sprite Sprite importance of reform. The poet wants to grow new shoots in spring.
“It’s hard with my mind to the universe
As dry leaves, to hasten the new birth! “
Shelley believes that regeneration should always be destroyed. When he knew more, night, morning becomes closer. So the poem “Ode to the West Wind” ends with the same hope of regeneration.
“If winter comes, spring can be far behind?”
In the poem «Adonais” We also found the use of natural resources. Adonais has a great love for the beauty of nature and natural forces to come to mourn his death. Adonais was killed when an arrow shot in the dark, her Urania, sprites poetry, and not on its the side. Urania was crying and kissing the corpse Adonais. poets also joined in mourning. If you use natural, suffering or death of Shelley and Keats became the universal sublime.
In addition, in the poem “To The Skylark” and Ozymandias “we find excellent use of natural objects.
After all, we can conclude our discussion by stating that Shelley is very optimistic in his view of nature. He wants the West Wind, natural forces, and the destroyer of the old order and the usual increase with a new and peaceful.
